NEWS AND EVENTS

4/3/17 - Isles of the Blind has been named a 2016 Foreword INDIES Book of the Year Awards Finalist in two categories: Literary Fiction and General Fiction. 

4/5/16 - What an honor to be recognized by Bucknell University with the Class of 1956 Lectureship Teaching Award - "established in recognition of inspirational teaching."  So many inspirational teachers at Bucknell - humbled to be counted among them. 

12/5/15 - My short story "Circus Circus," which originally appeared in Cimarron Review, has been selected for the third edition of New Stories from the Southwest.

10/15/15 - Check out the moving work of Merve Ates, the Turkish photographer whose photo graces the front cover of Isles of the Blind.  That shot, called Two Different Lives, won a National Geographic Photo of the Day award - which is how we discovered it.  Many thanks to Merve for permission to use her work.
